About Me

Hi, I’m Chanelle Guillaume, and I know firsthand how overwhelming and frustrating the job search process can be. Whether you’re feeling stuck in your career, struggling to get interviews, or just unsure about your next step, I’ve been there—and I’m here to help.

For over a decade, I’ve worked in career development, recruiting, and talent strategy. I’m here to help people at all stages of their careers land jobs that truly align with their goals and values. Having worked as a Recruiter at companies like Tesla, Coinbase, and Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc., I have an understanding of what hiring managers look for in candidates.

Why I Do This Work

I started my career in higher education by coaching and advising undergraduate and graduate students through major transitions—whether it was finding their first job, applying for internships, engaging in research, switching majors/minors, or even going abroad. Over time, I realized that there were many talented, hardworking individual who were missing out on opportunities simply because they didn’t know how to present themselves effectively. It’s not about being the “perfect” candidate—it’s about knowing how to tell your story in a way that makes employers see your value.

I created Hired by Design to help jobseekers do just that. I want to take the stress and guesswork out of the job search so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.

How I Can Help You

My approach is personal, strategic, and rooted in real-world hiring experience. I don’t believe in generic career advice—I take the time to understand your unique strengths, challenges, and aspirations so we can build a job search strategy that actually works for you.

You Don’t Have to Do This Alone

The job search can feel like an isolating, exhausting process—but you don’t have to figure it all out by yourself. I’m here to guide and support you every step of the way.

If you’re ready to move forward in your career (without all the stress and second-guessing), let’s talk. You deserve a job that not only pays the bills but also feels fulfilling and aligned with who you are.

I’d love to help you find it.
